個人參加者只需承諾於9月27日當晚七時至翌晨七時期間關掉冷氣機，便可登記參加。每部一匹冷氣機(註1)每小時約消耗0.8至1度電，並以一晚8小時計排放5.6公斤二氧化碳，這排放量需要一棵成年樹木約3個月才能完全吸收。換言之，每個參加家庭或宿生當晚可節省5.6公斤二氧化碳排放。由於關掉家中的冷氣是整個家庭的決定，參與這個活動建議先和其他家庭成員商量及討論，並解釋活動的意義。若是參加者是大學宿生，亦建議先和同房商量。 註1：很多家庭使用較大匹數的冷氣機，例如1.5匹或2匹；另外，很多家庭使用多於一部冷氣機。為較簡化登記程序及計算成效，本會較保守地以一個家庭有一部一匹冷氣機計算。 公司 / 機構我們希望公司 / 機構 負責人帶領員工一同參加這次活動，此活動將有效提升員工間環保及團結精神，並提高企業的環保形象。本會將於活動完結後發出證書乙張，已表謝意， 貴 公司 / 機構 的名字將放在本會的網頁之內。另外， 貴公司 / 機構的名字亦有可能刊登在報章之活動宣傳廣告。 以公司/機構登記支持截止日期為2012年9月24日。之後若仍想參與可在公司/機構內部以簽名表的方法先統計總參加人數，連同簽名表寄回或電郵至環保觸覺 (lessaircon@greensense.org.hk) 即可。 下載中學 參加備忘 下載小學 參加備忘 下載幼稚園 參加備忘 下載公司/機構/團體 參加備忘 | IndividualParticipants are required to pledge to turn off the air-conditioner from 7pm on 27th September to 7am the next morning. An air-conditioner with 1hp (see Note 1) consumes 0.8 to 1kWh of electricity per hour, and emits 5.6kg of carbon dioxide (for 8hr of use per night). This requires a mature tree 3 months to fully absorb.In another words, each participating family or university hostel resident may save at least 5.6kg of carbon dioxide emission during that night. Because it is a family decision to turn off the air-conditioner, we suggest you to consult your family member first, and explain the purpose of the event. If you are a university hostel resident, please consult your roommate(s) first. Note 1: Many families have larger power air-conditioner, e.g. 1.5hp or 2hp; besides, some family has more than one air-conditioner. For the sake of simplicity in registration and calculation, we conservatively assume each family to have only one 1hp air-conditioner. Company/ OrganizationWe anticipate top officials of company/ organization to take lead in joining this event. It could raise the environmental consciousness and team spirit among colleagues through participating in this event. It also helps boost the eco-friendly image of your company/ organization.We will issue a certificate after the event to express our gratitude. The name of your company/ organization would also be shown in our website. In addition, the name of your company/ organization may also appear in the newspaper advertisement of this event. For participant being a company/an organization, the registration deadline is 24th September, 2012. After the deadline, applications will still be accepted by means of signature forms.
