每部一匹冷氣機每小時約消耗0.8至1度電，以一晚運作8小時計，約排放5.6公斤二氧化碳，這排放量需要一棵成年樹木約3個月才能完全吸收。換言之，每個參加家庭或宿生當晚最少可減少5.6公斤二氧化碳排放。
各位也可在其他生活細節上著手，減少電力及其他資源消耗，為地球出一分力！
Tonight is the "No Air Con Night 2012", the temperate is about 25-27 degree at night, please let the air con rest for one night.
An air-conditioner with 1hp consumes 0.8 to 1kWh of electricity per hour, and emits 5.6kg of carbon dioxide (for 8hr of use per night). A mature tree takes 3 months to fully absorb this amount of CO2. In other words, each household reduces at least 5.6kg CO2 tonight.
